Senior Accreditation
Senior Accreditation shows current and potential clients, employers and colleagues that you are an experienced, mature and accomplished practitioner in your specialism and that you have continued to reflect and develop since your initial accreditation as a counsellor/psychotherapist.
If you are already accredited as a counsellor/psychotherapist, you can apply for one of our Senior Accreditation schemes.

The application packs provide all the information you need to make an application including a summary of the criteria.
You can save an application pack to your computer so you can complete it electronically if you want - use your right mouse button to click on the icon, then choose the option 'save as', tell the computer where you would like to save the document and give it a name you can remember!
Please read the pack carefully including the guidance notes. It has been designed to help you. If you still have questions after this, you can call the accreditation team on 01455 883300. You can also e-mail queries to accreditation@bacp.co.uk
Remember, we can only answer general questions about the application process and eligibility. The office team can't answer queries about, or help you interpret, the reflective practice criteria.
If you want to talk to an assessor about your application you can book onto a 'surgery'. These are half hour long, one to one sessions with one of our trained assessors where you can explore and clarify the criteria for accreditation. Please see the events page for dates and venues plus booking and fees.
