Accredited Service Directory

BACP Accredited Services are high quality, professionally managed therapeutic counselling/psychotherapy services that have been independently assessed as meeting our defined standards across a wide range of criteria.

Our Accredited Service Directory lists all the organisations providing services accredited by us. If an organisation is not listed here, its counselling/psychotherapy service is not BACP accredited.

You may also recognise accredited services from our Accredited Service logo on their publicity and information material.

If you would like to find out more about the criteria accredited services have to meet and the assessment process, please see the Service Accreditation scheme.

CONGRATULATIONS - to all those with accreditation recently awarded

During the period July - December 2017, 16 organisations have either newly accredited counselling & psychotherapy services (5) or renewed their five year accreditation terms for a second (7) or third (4) term - access the quick view list below for links to websites.

Using the Directory

Accredited services are listed alphabetically by their organisational name. Accreditation is granted to specific services, not to organisations, so the organisational name may be different to that of the actual accredited counselling/psychotherapy service.

We have accredited services across all four UK nations. They are listed according to the area they serve, so some services may be listed in more than one category. You can filter the online directory by area using the listing on the left of the page.

You can also view an alphabetical list of all our current accredited services:

The list below shows organisations whose services have previously been BACP accredited, but whose accredited status has lapsed for some reason, such as closure or merger, inability to maintain the criteria standards or failure to renew.
