Reinstatement of Accreditation
We know that accredited members allow their accreditation to lapse for a variety of reasons but we are always keen to welcome you back.
There is a process called 'reinstatement' whereby you can re-gain your intial accreditation as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist or Supervisor without having to make a completely new application.
There are two processes - one for members whose accreditation lapsed no more than three years ago and the second for members where accreditation lapsed more than three years ago.
There is a fee for this process. For a reinstatement less than 3 years this is £110 and for more than 3 years this is £220*
If you were accredited as both a Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Supervisor and your accredited status lapsed less than 3 years ago, you only need to complete one form and pay one fee.
If your accreditation lapsed more than 3 years ago, you must make seperate applications for each accreditation you wish to reinstate and pay the appropriate fee.
You can look at the criteria and access the forms for reinstatement as a counsellor/psychotherpaist by clicking on the links below.
