How to apply for service accreditation

To become an accredited service, you must demonstrate high standards over a range of criteria including:

  • Management and administration
  • Aims and objectives
  • Equal opportunities
  • Health and safety
  • Evaluation and feedback
  • Professional conduct
  • Accommodation
  • Publicity and community liaison

In your application, you have to describe how your service meets each criterion and then provide evidence to back this up. Each application is individually assessed by our professional assessors.

If you want to accredit more than one service or location, you may need to make more than one application. Please see the guide to applying below or contact our accreditation office team if you are unsure.
