Research
AIP is near to concluding a six month pilot study to look at the clinical usefulness of COREnet as a medium to bring out information from the forms utilised and which might also provide the practitioner with the detail that can highlight their good practice - something that may be vital in the move through to regulation.

The concept is that by using set forms which have been rigorously tested, and adding to them as the work progresses, it will be possible to gain visible evidence of the quality of your work as an independent practitioner, and may ensure that you get your share of the work made available post regulation.

This pilot concludes at the end of June 2009, after which a short report will be compiled from those who took part in the pilot and will subsequently be made available to AIP members.

If you have ideas for research work that would benefit members of the Division, please contact one of the Executive Team. Remember, research doesn't have to be dry and dusty, nor does it have to have a high academic content. We are always looking for ways to inform the Division and its members, in ways that can make for a professional service to clients and an informed and professional counsellor to provide it.
