Association of Independent Practitioners Journal

BACP Divisions are groups of BACP members sharing a common work setting or area of interest.

AIP is the journal of AIP (Association of Independent Practitioners). The journals remit is to support the independent practitioner and to provide a wide range of articles and informative items aimed at lessening the isolation experienced by those working alone, as affiliates or independently within other organisations.

It’s editorial material, issues raised, and the provision of supportive information or shared experiences, are selected to provide a professional counterpoint to working in isolation.

Advertising includes continuing professional development opportunities relevant to both counsellors and supervisors, publications relating to independent practitioners, networking opportunities, other caring services working in harmony with counselling and services useful to those in independent practice.
