Association for University and College Counselling (AUCC) BACP Divisions are groups of BACP members sharing a common work setting or area of interest. The AUCC Journal addresses the cutting edge issues facing further and higher education, such as student retention, and has been praised as thought-provoking, useful and a support network for counsellors and psychotherapists working in this sector. The quarterly AUCC Journal is read and highly-valued by counsellors working in over three quarters of UK's further and higher education institutions. In a recent survey, the AUCC Journal received the highest rating of any BACP divisional journal for its usefulness to readers’ practice. The November annual special issue is distributed to institutions nationwide, with copies reaching vice-chancellors and principals, student services managers and student union presidents, as well as being received by several hundred MPs. Regular advertisers include publishers of sector-relevant books, conference and training event organisers, and those offering innovative services to the student services sector.
