BACP recognises the importance of continued professional development (CPD) in expanding knowledge and skills. Our Ethical Framework requires all of our members to keep their skills and knowledge up-to-date through regular CPD.
We believe that learning does not finish when you qualify as a counsellor or psychotherapist and professional practitioners should continually seek learning experiences to maintain, improve and broaden their competence, knowledge and skills, ensuring they can practise safely, effectively and legally within an evolving scope of practice.
To become a BACP Registered Member, you have to formally commit to undertaking CPD and to plan, record, review and reflect upon your learning in a structured way.
Our CPD directory, is a searchable directory of CPD activities from providers across the UK and worldwide, which enables you to promote your CPD course to 43,934* members.
