BACP heads seven specialist ’divisions’ open to members to join. Each division produces a quarterly journal free to their members or available by subscription to BACP members and the general public.
BACP Children & Young People is the quarterly journal of BACP Children & Young People. Its readership includes not only counsellors and psychotherapists in schools, CAMHS, youth agencies and private practice, but also others concerned with the mental and emotional wellbeing of children and young people, such as teachers, support officers, education welfare officers and youth community workers.
Coaching Today is the quarterly journal of BACP Coaching and is read by counsellors and psychotherapists retraining to be or practising as coaches, either in addition or as an alternative to their current therapy practice, as well as coaches from a range of other backgrounds, including management and human resources.
Counselling at Work is the quarterly journal of BACP Workplace and its readers include workplace counsellors, trainers, team leaders and welfare staff, occupational psychologists, HR managers and those with an interest in employee counselling services and skills.
Healthcare Counselling and Psychotherapy Journal is the quarterly journal of BACP Healthcare and is read by counsellors and psychotherapists of all modalities working in healthcare, whether for an NHS service or a third sector organisation funded by the NHS.
Private Practice (formerly The Independent Practitioner) is the quarterly journal of BACP Private Practice. The journal reaches counsellors and psychotherapists working independently, either in private practice or for employee assistance programmes (EAPs) or agencies, in paid and voluntary positions.
Thresholds is the quarterly journal of BACP Spiritualty, whose members include counsellors and psychotherapists with an interest or involvement in spirituality, belief or pastoral care, along with organisations, both within and outside the context of a faith community.
University & College Counselling is the quarterly journal of BACP Universities & Colleges and is read by counsellors and psychotherapists working in further and higher education, as well as academic staff, supervisors and trainers.
