Therapy Today
Therapy Today is the flagship professional journal of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
Published 10 times a year, Therapy Today is widely regarded as the leading professional journal for counsellors & psychotherapists in the UK.
It includes news, features, a wide range of perspectives from academics to grassroots practitioners on developments in the field, and stimulating debate on practice issues and ethical dilemmas.
The journal also includes columns from a practitioner, trainee, client and the Chair of BACP; groupwork and supervision sections; new research, professional conduct cases, book reviews, readers' letters and all the latest news from BACP.
The advertising section comprises an average of 30 pages, including classified, mini-ads, recruitment and CPD.
Run of paper display advertising can be carried with a minimum size of a quarter page, and an add on rate of 25%, subject to approval by the Advertising Manager.

Ten issues a year are published, on or around 19th of the month (except January and August).

Inserts
Please contact Jinny Hughes to arrange for a quotation. A sample of the material for insertion will be required. All loose items are sent in the same package as the journal but may not necessarily be inserted into the publication itself.
Inserts are accepted into the journal subject to approval. The mailing house delivery details are available once the insert is approved. Full mailing figure is 38,579** (**subject to increase). All prices shown below are exclusive of vat.

Production requirements
Artwork must be sent as an electronic file in InDesign (MAC version CS4 or later), Microsoft Word or PDF format, or sent by email to jinny.hughes@bacp.co.uk or victoria.bourgault@bacp.co.uk
Approval & disclaimer
Advertisements are only accepted at the discretion of BACP and must not be contrary to agreed BACP policies and practice. They must comply with the British Code of Advertising Practice. A full version of BACP Advertising Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Advertising Manager.
Booking
Advertising space must be booked in writing. Unless by agreement/prior arrangement with the Advertising Manager all adverts under £300 (inc vat) must be prepaid. An invoice will be sent prior to publication. Payment must be received within 28 days.
