As Europe's largest counselling and psychotherapy organisation, representing more than 34,000 individuals and organisations, BACP works to support the interests of its members and of service users. Campaigning is a key area of this work, enabling us to raise awareness and understanding of psychological therapies to those in positions of power. By lobbying and pushing for those who influence change to work with us, we seek to influence decision making and legislation and bring about national policy change. To ensure our work is effective we only support or instigate campaigns that we believe can really make a difference, with involvement ranging from a letter of support to a campaign created by the Association.
