Telford International Centre

The Telford International Centre, just five minutes from the motorway and a two minute taxi ride from the train station, is an ideal location for our Annual Conference.

A bright and spacious self contained conference space, the International Centre will provide the perfect setting for you to get the most out of your conference experience.  Whether it’s networking or quiet time you are looking for, there will be space and time for you to indulge your needs.
The centre is ideally situated for exploring and enjoying Shropshire so why not extend your stay and enjoy the local history. Close at hand are medieval Shrewsbury, Shifnal, the city of Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth and Ironbridge Gorge, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, with its world famous landmark iron bridge from which the gorge takes its name.  In Telford itself there is plenty to do within walking distance of the International Centre and if peace and quiet is what you are looking for Telford Town Park is just a short stroll away. There you’ll find peaceful, relaxing woodland strolls and wide open spaces where you can unwind and clear your mind.

Directions

From M6 northbound
Join M54 at M6/J10A.  Travel west to M54/J4.  Take the second exit and follow signs to The International Centre.

From M6 Toll northbound
Leave M6 Toll at junction T8.  This equates to M6/J11.  Go straight ahead into A460 (Wolverhampton Road) towards Wolverhampton.  After 2.4 miles access M54/J1.  Take the third exit off the roundabout onto M54 direction Telford.  Travel west on M54 to J4.  Take the second exit and follow signs to The International Centre.

From M6 southbound
Leave M6 at junction 12.  Take A5 west for 1 mile to Gailey Island.  Take first left on to A449.  Travel 3 miles to M54/J2.  Travel west on M54 to J4.  Take the second exit and follow signs to The International Centre.

Rail

There are regular services from Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury.  The International Centre is two minutes by taxi from the station, from where there is also a regular bus service.

Air

The International Centre is less than an hour by road from Birmingham International airport.  There are also rail connections from Birmingham International Station via Birmingham New Street.
