Being a city centre venue there is no on-site parking at the Civic Centre (except for pre-arranged disabled parking) and we encourage delegates to make use of the superb public transport system. If you do wish to drive, there are public car parks nearby as well as some street parking. These are both chargeable. Delegates will receive a
conference travel card with their joining instructions which entitles them to free travel on both the Tyne & Wear Metro and the Quaylink buses. These services link all areas within the city centre as well as serving the airport, train station and outlying areas.
