The experience of in-house university counselling services for students who identify as lesbian, gay, bi and/or queer

Are you a university student or graduate who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or queer? Do you have experience of university counselling & therapy services?

As part of a postgraduate research project at Staffordshire University, I am looking for volunteer participants to take part in a 1 hour online interview about their experiences of university counselling services as a student who identifies as lesbian, bi, gay and/or queer.

To be eligible to take part you must:

  • Identify as lesbian, gay, bi &/or queer (all genders welcomed)
  • Be 18+ years old
  • A current or previous student of a UK university
  • Have experienced university counselling/therapy services and finished your sessions 6+ weeks ago

The purpose of the study is to give a voice to LGBT+ students about their experiences and inform best practice for counselling service creating inclusive therapeutic spaces.
