Professional Development Day: Suicide and Suicidal Ideation - Cardiff, 27 October 2017
This PDD session is an informal event to encourage counsellors to reflect on their own practice when working with suicidal clients. We'll touch on delegate's personal value base, update knowledge of current facts and figures regarding suicide, consider how working with a suicidal client can alter the therapeutic relationship in general and then encourage delegates to apply the day's learning to their own counselling practice.
