Training News

The telephone and e-competences and curriculum are available. If you would like to train as a telephone and/or e-counsellor, take a look at the competences to see what you need to be competent to practice in this area. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your existing counselling skills to be able to work competently and ethically as a telephone and e-counselling practitioner.

We’re delighted to present the new Young People Training Curriculum. This curriculum reflects BACP competences for humanistic counselling with young people (11–18 years). Based on a consistent minimum standard to which practitioners should be trained, it enables counsellors to become competent in knowledge and practice of working with young people aged 11–18 years in an ethical and effective way. You can find it on our new Competences and Curricula page.
