Training Directory
The 23rd edition (2008) – contains over 400 pages, with course listings for over 350 university, further education college and specialist training providers. Courses are listed by county and region for ease of use with a national section also included for larger training organisations. Important information such as contact details, core model, duration and entry requirements are listed for courses. All the institutions/organisations are indexed alphabetically, and a keyword index lists common counselling terms.
The directory also includes an "Essential Information for Students" section, with useful information on funding, open learning, accreditation and the basic principles of counselling. The directory also gives useful contact details for related awarding bodies, a glossary of terms, a guide to theoretical approaches and an introductory reading list.
