Introduction

BACP's primary purpose is to support counsellors and help them better serve their clients. We are passionate about the value of counsellling and its potential to change the lives of individuals and communities.

With almost 44,000 members, BACP is the largest professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy in the UK. By becoming a member you will gain access to support, guidance and continuing professional development as you progress through your training and your career.

You will also be demonstrating to the public, potential employers and fellow practitioners that you are dedicated to practising responsibly, ethically and to the highest of standards.
