Membership fees are vital to the work of BACP. Through your fees, you enable us to develop resources to support high standards of counselling practice, demonstrate the value of counselling to government, commissioners and the public, and raise the profile of our profession. †

Type of organisation†
†While there is only one organisational membership category, fees vary according to the type of organisation:†
- Local voluntary or charitable†
Voluntary organisations or registered charities working in one location, local authority run educational establishments or non-commercial universities.
- National voluntary or charitable
Voluntary organisations or charities which cover more than one county.
Local or national profit making organisations or educational establishments. Sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and any other organisations that are not voluntary or charitable must apply as commercial organisations.†

Paying your membership fees
If you pay by Direct Debit, you can spread your fees over 10 monthly instalments. Please complete and return the Direct Debit mandate attached to the application form.
Alternatively, you can pay the annual fee in full by Direct Debit, credit/debit card or cheque.†
