Who we are
We raise awareness among the public of BACP, and of counselling and psychotherapy more generally. We make sure that the organisation’s public communications are delivered in an appropriate, timely and consistent way. As well as managing the public reputation of BACP, we monitor press activity, deal with incoming media enquiries and collaborate with other departments to release statements relating to topical events. Our proactive media activity draws on the results of regular public surveys, engagement with key media outlets and an expanding network of expert member spokespeople.
If you are a BACP member looking for advice or support in working with the media, have a look at our Information for Members page for ways we can support you, and contact us directly on the number or email address above.
