It's Good to Talk first film launch |
As part of BACP's mission to raise public awareness of counselling and psychotherapy in the UK, we are delighted to announce the launch of our short film, ‘Britain’s worst break-up lines: which one have you used?’ The film, which focuses on a clichéd break-up, is targeted at the social networking generation (aged 18 to 30). Our aim is to encourage young people to view it across a variety of social media platforms, thereby helping to build a stronger awareness of counselling, and the 'It's Good to Talk' website. In the future we hope to develop a collection of films, targeted at different audiences, to continue raising awareness of the online resource. We hope that the subject matter of the film will demonstrate to the audience that counselling and psychotherapy can be beneficial for many people in a wide variety of everyday situations. The core message is that, although it’s sometimes difficult to say what’s on your mind, talking to a counsellor can really help. Please
click here to view the film and please share with friends, family and colleagues to spread the word that it really is good to talk. |
