Re-Admission to Membership

ROBERT HUDSON - Reference No: 606285, London SW9 0DX

Mr Hudson submitted an application for membership which was considered under Article 4.3 of the Memorandum & Articles of Association. His termination of membership was previously reported in the February 2005 edition of this Journal, under the name of Alexander DeAndre.

Mr Hudson was allowed membership subject to conditions as follows:

  • Mr Hudson should send a report from both his supervisors every six months for a period of two years starting six months after being admitted into membership. These reports should confirm that he attends supervision regularly; that he shows the ability to assess clients effectively; that he is a competent practitioner demonstrating care for his clients; and that he demonstrates the personal moral qualities listed in BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. The submission of these reports will be Mr Hudson’s responsibility.
  • Mr Hudson should confirm the names of his current supervisors with BACP and inform BACP of their qualifications.
  • In addition, Mr Hudson must submit two annual reports; one in a year’s time and one in two year’s time from the date of his admission to membership. These reports should confirm that Mr Hudson has committed no more offences or been subject to disciplinary matters and that Mr Hudson is taking seriously the necessity of continuing professional development.

Failure to meet the conditions will result in the matter being referred under Article 4.6 of the Memorandum & Articles of Association.
