About me and my therapy practice

Counselling, Psychotherapy & Clinical Supervision.

I have many years clinical experience, since 2002, working with adults from all walks and stages of life.

I am qualified with an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Supervision.

I believe supervision plays a vital role in supporting practitioners in their work with clients, and I provide a safe space in which Counsellors can think about, and work creatively with, all aspects of their work. I believe it is important for the maintenance of professional standards and ethics.

I am passionate about the work I do, and I know personally the benefits of experiencing a professional therapeutic relationship, and how it can transform the way we think, live and relate to others.

In my practice with clients, I work integratively and relationally. I trained as a psychodynamic practitioner initially, and have experienced and had training in other models over the years. In particular, I’m interested in attachment theory and developments in the field of trauma.

My continuing commitment to further professional development training and interests in other therapy models, and experience, enables me to adapt to a wide variety of individuals and problems.
