Statutory Regulation - What will it mean for me?

In February 2005 the Department of Health (DH) funded BACP and UKCP to carry out research into the provision of counselling and psychotherapy training in the UK and the standards of that training and the codes of ethics and practice and conduct processes of all registering / accrediting counselling and psychotherapy organisations. This work was carried out jointly by BACP and UKCP with the involvement and cooperation of all the accrediting and registering bodies in the field who comprised a wider reference group.
