This research funding database provides an alert to a range of funding opportunities that might be suitable for applications on counselling and psychotherapy research, along with the relevant links to find out more detailed information on each funding opportunity. Because the scope of research questions in counselling and psychotherapy research is so vast the funders listed in the research funding database will not necessarily match all research questions in counselling and psychotherapy.

Funders have a whole range of criteria for applications. They might have targeted population groups and priorities for funding, so if you are looking at a research project for counselling children and young people in schools, some of the funders who may consider funding such a project will be different to those, that for example, might fund a research project about counselling for asylum seekers. So the funding opportunities listed here may be relevant for some projects and not others.
