Call for Participants – Physical Contact in Therapy
Katherine Akroyd

I am a Humanistic Person-Centred psychotherapy student (MA) conducting a phenomenological research study into the question:

What is the female client's experience in humanistic person centred therapy of being held by their female therapist?

Participation consists of a recorded interview (approx 1 hour), and a short debrief. Interviews will be transcribed and form the basis of the raw data of the research. Your anonymity and right to withdraw from participation, at any time up to the point of submission for binding, will be protected.

If you have experienced ‘being held’ by a female Humanistic Person-centred therapist, and you are either in personal therapy currently or able to access therapy should you feel the need to, and interested in participating, then please contact me via email: katherine.akroyd@btopenworld.com
