Welcome to our website that is related to our project funded by RDI/ESRC entitled: ‘Training the trainers to develop and enhance research capacity in counselling and psychotherapy’
Our aim is to make research methods training more accessible to counsellors and psychotherapists at all stages of their research career by providing relevant annotated information about relevant training events taking place in the UK throughout 2008/9. There are one day events organised around Britain and a summer school in July/August 2008 that are part of this project that may be of interest. There are many organisations including universities, professional associations, research councils and private providers offering a wide range of research methods training events. Some courses and events are open to anyone who wants to enrol and others are targeted at particular participants who may be students or academic staff of universities. This site will provide links to training and events that have been identified as relevant, although such links do not imply that there has been any quality assessment of events displayed. We hope that you will find something to interest you and we would be grateful if you would complete the on line questionnaire to provide feedback on your use of this site. |
