Do you need to talk to someone about a research project or research dilemma in counselling and psychotherapy? The BACP Research Department has a regular research surgery to support members who do not have access to research supervision and have a research dilemma, question or problem. For example it may be how to get started on a research project, how to determine a research question, how to design part of a study, or how to use research evidence in your work. It could be you are stuck at a particular stage of your research project and need some help to resolve your difficulty. The research surgery will be via telephone with Suky Khele (Research and Public Affairs Officer) and Kaye Richards (Research Facilitator). If you are interested in booking a 30-minute session, they are offered throughout the year and are available to any BACP member, whether it be someone new to research or an experienced researcher. Dates for the remaining surgeries for 2008 are: Wednesday - 24 Sept: 2.00 - 3.30 Wednesday - 12 Nov: 2.00 - 3.30 If spaces are available you will be allocated a 30 minute session within the above time slot. To book a session: Please contact Kaye Richards in advance of the above dates: email
kaye.richards@bacp.co.uk / tel: 01455 883332. Along with your briefing, you will need to forward a telephone number where you can be contacted and BACP will call you up to five minutes before the agreed scheduled time for your slot. There are limited slots so please book early to avoid disappointment. |
