BACP representatives met with LifeLink at its Glasgow offices earlier this month to learn first-hand about the impact this BACP accredited service is having across Glasgow, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire.

Operating as a social enterprise, Lifelink focuses on providing an early intervention service, within a supportive and therapeutic environment. It works particularly, but not exclusively, in areas of high deprivation, helping individuals to understand and manage their own stress to improve mental health and overall wellbeing.

Lifelink introduced us to the various programmes it's delivering in community setting, in schools, prisons and workplaces. We also discussed how it can support our policy engagement activity as well as joining our Older People Expert reference Group.

We were also pleased to hear that Lifelink has been nominated for a prestigious Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) award for ‘demonstrating digital’ in its work to  help clients cut through the anxiety of everyday life and focus on their therapy.
