Key information

Badges: Please wear your badge at all times throughout the day. Your badge is a good networking tool and also identifies you as an event delegate. If you are not wearing your badge, you may be asked to verify that you have registered and booked onto the event. On leaving, please recycle your badge in the containers provided within the registration area.

Catering: Refreshments and lunch are part of your delegate package and they’ll be served in the restaurant.

Certificates of attendance: We’ll email your certificate to you after the event.

Evaluation: We’ll email you an evaluation survey to complete after the event. We appreciate if you can take the time to respond. We strive to improve our events which is why your feedback is so important to us.

Fire alarm: There is no scheduled fire alarm test, if you hear the alarm sound please follow the emergency signs and vacate the building.

First Aid: There are first aid trained staff on site. If you require assistance, please speak to a member of the events team on the registration and information desk.

Poster viewing: You’ll be able to view the poster exhibition at the back of the City Quay Suite.

Registration desk: The registration desk is located next to the main entrance and exhibition area. Here you’ll find members of the events team to answer your questions.

Mobile phones: Please ensure your phone is in silent mode during presentations. You'll need your phone throughout the event to engage with digital content.

Smoking: The Apex is a non-smoking venue. However, delegates can use a designated area outside of the building where bins are provided.

Sessions: There is no need to pre-book your sessions. Review the programme using the QR codes located around the venue and attend sessions of your choice. Please note you may need your phone for question submission in some strands - more information will be made available in those sessions.
