I would like to interview Integrative Psychotherapists, qualified or in training who are receiving clinical supervision, in line with the BACP code of ethics.

Participants would need to be currently working with, or have worked with a client who is a twin. I wish to explore how the psychotherapist experiences their twin client in therapy and if you feel that a twin client has particular needs that are different to non-twin clients.

My reasons for choosing this area of research is because I myself am an identical twin and I am excited by the opportunity to combine my understanding of the uniqueness of the twin relationship with my continued professional development as a Psychotherapist. Data collection will involve a semi-structured interview, which will take between 30-50 minutes which can be conducted at a mutually convenient time and date. I am happy to travel to you to conduct my interviews.

My research has been ethically approved by The Sherwood Institute and as a member of the BACP I am committed to working in accordance with their ethical framework and Ethical Guidelines for Research. Any data gathered will be securely stored, anonymised and destroyed once my dissertation is complete.

If you have worked with a twin client I would very much like to hear from you. Please contact me via email: adelekpsychotherapy@gmail.com for further information.

I shall look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for your interest in this study.

Regards
Adele Koleszko
