I am researching experiences of perinatal loss and how the experience of this loss impacts on expectations and experiences of subsequent pregnancy and parenting.

By conducting this research, I am hoping to contribute to raising the awareness of the significance of the experience of pregnancy loss and by doing this underline and increase the awareness of the importance of support following the experience of pregnancy loss.

The research will take the form of a semi structured interview which will take place via Zoom or Skype and will take approximately 1 hour to complete.

I would be interested in interviewing women aged over 18 who have had a child/children following an experience perinatal loss at any stage in their pregnancy.

I feel it would be useful if a minimum of 3 years had elapsed between the loss and taking part in the study and that participants feel safe to take part in the interview process. I would ask that participants not currently be engaged in counselling for the loss and have been engaged in any support groups for a minimum of 6 months.

The research has received ethics approval from the university and will be supervised throughout.

Thank you for your time and attention, if you need any further information or would like to take part please contact me using my university email address 1719394@chester.ac.uk

Kind Regards,
