Exploring the intersectional experiences of Black women who train as therapists
I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Surrey researching the experiences of Black women who train as therapists in the UK. I am aiming to interview, on Microsoft Teams or face to face on request, 10-20 Black women either currently training or post qualification within the last five years about their perspectives on experiences training as therapists. The inclusion and exclusion criteria are outlined below:
Suitability Criteria
. Self-identify as Black
. Female
. UK-based
Volunteer participants will need to read pre-study information (Participant Information Sheet, Interview Questions (a preview), Consent Form) prior to a mutually agreed interview date being arranged. All data will be anonymised within the final report, to maintain confidentiality.
