I am currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Chester and am conducting a study exploring how counsellors experience clients’ emotions.

I am looking for qualified counsellors (to at least Diploma level) who have current access to Supervision working in any setting to voluntarily participate in a forty minute audio-recorded interview.

The interview may be conducted either face-to-face or by Skype/FaceTime and involves answering some questions about how counsellors experience clients’ emotions in clinical practice.

The study has ethical approval from the University of Chester Department of Psychology Ethics Committee and is being conducted in accordance with the British Psychological Society (BPS) Guidelines and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Guidelines for Research.

The study is being supervised by Dr Astrid Schepman, Senior Lecturer, Department of Psychology, University of Chester, email: a.schepman@chester.ac.uk

If you require additional information and/or wish to participate please email the researcher Julia Gorle: 0917495@chester.ac.uk

Thank you.

Julia.
