My name is Lindsey Moses and I am a researcher undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Psychotherapeutic Studies at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and I am looking for newly qualified counsellors/psychotherapists, counselling educators/trainers and experienced counsellors/psychotherapists in current practice to take part in a research study. The study will explore the role of embodiment in counselling training and therapeutic practice.

For the purposes of this study embodiment is defined as, ‘the integration of body, mind and spirit, in relationship with self, others and the world’. The research aims to explore the participants organic and learnt experience of embodiment and how this informs their awareness of self, others and therapeutic practice.

  • A qualified counsellor/psychotherapist.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
