I am interviewing emergency services, NHS, private medical and frontline staff, including 999 call handlers, who have received the rewind technique for trauma, for my qualitative research as part of my dissertation.

I have full ethical approval for the study from Bath Spa University.

I want to know what you think and feel about the rewind technique personally, and whether you believe it may, or may not, be of benefit to other frontline staff.

Therapists can give the study information sheet to their clients following Rewind treatment, from the following backgrounds;

Currently serving, retired or left, paid or voluntary staff from;

Police
Fire Service
Ambulance Service (NHS or private)
NHS or private medical staff
Coastguard
RNLI

You will be given complete anonymity and are not required to discuss any traumatic incidents, unless you wish to do so. Therapists who inform clients about the study, will not be told whether they participated.

You are welcome to request the study information sheet and contact me to ask any questions, with no obligation to participate or assist with recruitment.

You can contact me at: lyanne.pudney18@bathspa.ac.uk or call me on 07748 371514.
