Minding the brain: UK-based integrative counsellors’ and psychotherapists’ perceptions towards the judicious infusion of neuroscience understanding into clinical practice

Intrigued how neuroscience may enhance psychotherapy or counselling? Baffled by its hype and relevancy to clinical practice?

My name is Nicky Thomas and I'm in my third year MSc Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling at Warwick University. I'm conducting research which is investigating UK-based integrative therapists/students/educators' perceptions around integrating neuroscience understanding into clinical practice.

Participation involves completing a short, anonymous online survey. You’ll be asked about your integrative approach and to reflect on how you feel about neuroscience integration. You don’t need to have any particular knowledge of neuroscience to take part. Those who integrate neuroscience into practice will be asked to share their experiences. The survey provides signposting for more information about neuroscience-informed therapy, should you want to find out more.

Please see flyer for more information.
