Do you initiate, broach or give voice to racial, ethnic or cultural concerns with your clients? Or have you ever done this? If so, your experiences, thoughts and attitudes would be welcomed as part of a new research study into broaching practices in the UK.

The research is interested in capturing the experiences and attitudes of qualified practitioners, and to take part you will ideally have worked with clients who identify as being from different racial or cultural backgrounds to your own.

Participation involves a 60-minute video interview on Microsoft Teams, a secure platform, arranged at a time that is convenient for you.

I am a counselling trainee and BACP student member currently enrolled on an MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy at University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. Ethical approval for this research has been obtained from UWE.

If you’re interested in taking part, please see the participant information sheet here.
