It’s time to plan the next steps of your career.

Come and join us at the 2019 student event ‘Bridging the gap’ on Saturday 23 February. The event is designed to help you take the next step from training to become a qualified professional. By creating your own workshop schedule, the flexible programme allows you to plan a day that best suits you. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend open taster talks and book one-to-one appointments with exhibitors.

Hear from the experts…

Take the opportunity to hear from experienced practitioners who will be sharing valuable lessons they’ve learned while working as counselling professionals. They’ll also be sharing stories of the things they wish they’d known when graduating.

Each practitioner comes from a different background and offers a unique perspective on life working in the counselling professions.

The programme for this year will include five strands; navigating a successful career, setting up in private practice, practitioners experiences, out of your depth and self-care & personal development.

We will be covering topics such as developing a career path in counselling and psychotherapy, what are interviewers looking for, working with suicidal clients, self-care, how to get the most out of your supervision and much more.

The first workshop will begin at 9:30am and the last one will finish at 4:30pm.

The full programme will follow shortly.
