We are delighted that BACP accredited member Neelam Farzana has been awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours for services to mental health in the community.
Recognising a gap in the provision of mental health support for the BAME community, she set up The Listening Service in 2007.
Ms Farzana has been a counsellor for over twenty years, and is currently working in private practice as well as in her role as Managing Director of The Listening Service.
