About me and my therapy practice
Making the decision to see a therapist is a big step forward in dealing with what is troubling you and it can be difficult to know where to start. Finding the right therapist for you is an important first step.
I have over 14 years experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work with both couples and individuals and also have a specialist qualification in Relationship Therapy. I provide a safe, ethical and confidential service. Whatever it is that is troubling you, you don’t need to go through it alone.
I use an integrative approach to counselling, drawing on a range of theoretical backgrounds but always with the needs of the individual at the forefront. I work with the person, not with a diagnosis or label and therefore work with whatever issues you choose to bring.
I aim to provide a comfortable and supportive environment, where we work through what is troubling you at your own pace. You will be listened to, accepted and respected regardless of what you tell me. I will not tell you what to do, but will do my best to support you in working through any difficulties you may be experiencing and to give you the space to make the decisions that are right for you.
Counselling rooms are based in central Inverness, close to all main transport routes and parking. I also offer sessions online.
