About me and my therapy practice
Being listened to and being heard, is powerful. Having space to open up and talk, a space that is safe and free of judgement, helps. This is what I do, I can help.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the very essence of therapy and I aim to foster a trusting environment that allows you to be yourself completely, without judgement. I trust your ability to have within yourself, the wisdom to carry yourself forward. You are the expert in your own life and know what you require for your own personal development, growth and coming to terms with losses. Tuning into your inner self, your inner voice, can bring forth epiphanies and realisation of your full potential.
My part in your journey is to listen to you, understand you, earn your trust, to witness and feel your life, your loves, losses, trauma, all you carry and feedback to you what you tell me, challenge the masks you hold, so you can begin hear and witness yourself, and heal.
My experience as a counsellor so far has been in trauma, abuse, bereavement, loss, disconnection to self, cultural/religious identity, carers, self-esteem, self-confidence, stress, anxiety and depression. I work with individuals only and have been practising since September 2016.
