About me and my therapy practice

I am an Exeter based Counsellor and Psychotherapist with 17 years of working therapeutically with people .

I provide a calm, safe space in a confidential setting, just off the high street.

I will welcome you with a warm and down to earth approach. I am also trained in Supervision, EMDR, CBT and Hypnotherapy.

Practice description

My role is to facilitate our work together in ways that respect your values and beliefs. I believe that we have all the resources that we need inside of us, my aim is to help you locate them.

My approach is integrative, meaning that I am trained and experienced in using several different approaches and models of Therapy. This enables me to personalise and tailor our sessions to working in a way that feels right and comfortable for you.

The quality of the relationship between Therapist and Client is of paramount importance to me. I work to create an atmosphere of warmth, trust and acceptance.. By walking alongside you, I can help you to unpick difficulties and learn to trust your own judgement in making decisions.

Of special interest to me is Estrangement, often not spoken about but studies suggest as many as 1 in 5 families have a member who is estranged.

I also am trauma informed and experienced in using IFS

I offer concessions for Counselling students and voluntary workers of £40 per hour.

Practice description

I have been practising as a Clinical Supervisor for 12 years. I have a PG Certificate In Counselling Supervision accredited by CPCAB

I am on the approved list with most Devon Counselling Colleges
