About me and my therapy practice

Do you often feel sad and anxious and have low moods or depression? Maybe you feel not good enough? Does it feel like life is passing you by, that other people have a better life than you with a great life partner, good career and supportive family but you’re worried that all or some of that isn't happening for you? Perhaps you’re not confident about your looks, your work or your relationships?

Have you been told you’re too sensitive? Are you a ‘people pleaser’ who finds it hard to say “No”? Do you feel guilt or shame about something?

Are you finding it hard to come to terms with the loss of a loved one or have you had a different loss such as the loss of a job, children leaving home or a loss of status? Maybe you’re caring for a relative with dementia or cancer or perhaps you have suffered a trauma?

Perhaps your child/young person is experiencing difficulties at school or with their peers?

I’ve had similar life experiences and if you connect with any of these issues, I can understand how that might feel for you and I can offer help. Counselling can help you feel happier, manage anxiety better, see your problems in a different way, find solutions to your problems or a better way of dealing with them.

I work with adults and children/young people aged 12 and over. If you would like to see what it might be like to work with me, please e-mail me and we can arrange a free telephone call to see if I’m the right person for you.

Practice description

I realise it’s often very hard to take that first step and come to counselling. I aim to help you feel comfortable and at ease, to enable you to explore your concerns and empower you to find a solution or a better way of dealing with them.

If you have any questions, please e-mail me. I offer an initial free no-obligation 15 minute telephone consultation.
