About me and my therapy practiceI am committed to offering a service which is supportive, non-discriminatory and welcoming to people from all backgrounds. My areas of specialism include substance use/misuse and trauma. I offer a compassionate and non-judgemental approach to addiction, recovery & harm reduction. I have extensive experience working with people whose lives have been impacted by substance use/misuse and related problems such as unresolved grief, depression, anxiety, loss and change, PTSD, OCD, relationship problems and more. Whether I meet with clients in-person or online; my aim is always to provide a safe and supportive space.
Working from my consulting room in Chester, and online using a secure video platform that is both GDPR & HIPAA compliant, I work using an integration of approaches which include Person-Centred, Trauma Focused-CBT, Transpersonal, Transactional Analysis, Breathwork and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
Recognising, and valuing, the unique individuality of us all, my aim is to provide a safe therapeutic relationship born out of compassionate listening, empathy and respect. Thus, my training and experience enable me to offer a range of approaches which I tailor to the needs of individual clients.
