My Qualifications

Practice description
Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety, panic, anger, stress or fear. You might feel very low, sad even hopeless. It could be that the effort to keep things going has become increasingly difficult. You might be grieving the loss of a significant relationship, an important role or for long-held hopes. You might be confused or searching for new meaning in life. You might have destructive behaviours and feel isolated.
I will listen in a confidential space to all you share about your current life situation and bring a non-judgemental and kind attitude. We will explore things that may be difficult and the effect that it's having on your health and relationships.
Gaining insight into how your life experiences have impacted you can be helpful before considering change or moving forward. We can explore possibilities that will lead to a more fulfilling and empowered life, emotional well-being and improved relationships.
My first session
During our first session I will explain the framework for counselling for example confidentiality and what can help counselling be most effective.
I may ask you to complete a short multiple-choice questionnaire about low mood and anxiety which is a helpful assessment tool and can be used later to measure progress.
You will be given the opportunity to ask any questions that you might have about counselling. You might let me know what your expectations are of counselling with me and how you would like your life to be different.
The above will take about 5-10 minutes after which time you are free to talk and share about the issue you have come with.
Thank-you for visiting my profile.
