About me and my therapy practice
I’m a psychosynthesis / integrative therapist based in London Bridge. I provide an open, safe space where you can begin to make sense of your inner world, helping you to come into a deeper relationship with yourself. This process can support the changes you may be seeking to live a more fulfilling life.
You may find yourself feeling stuck and held back by limiting patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours, which can be a source of frustration and pain. Bringing a kind awareness to feelings and thoughts can help to understand old patterns more fully, supporting you to let go of what no longer serves you. This can free up space for a new way of relating and being in the world to emerge.
It seems that no-one gets through life without experiencing some form of hurt. For me, the counselling process is about really acknowledging this, giving our feelings the space and validation they deserve. Indeed, it is often through contacting our difficult feelings that something new can come into being.
I’m aware that as a culture we tend to spend a lot of time “in our heads”. My experience has taught me that meaningful change requires a deepening relationship and sensitivity towards our feelings, effectively bringing us more into our bodies. I’m influenced by the Buddhist practice of mindfulness, which supports clients to come more into relationship with their immediate feelings and sensations.
