About me and my therapy practice
About Me: I have been working exclusively with clients from within the LGBTQ+ community for a number of years, and I believe that it is incredibly important to have access to a therapeutic space where your identity does not have to be justified or explained.
However I welcome clients from all age groups, abilities, backgrounds and identities.Together, we can look at what might make you feel more free; in order to accept what is, rather than what ‘should’ be. I like to incorporate both the mind and the body, with an emphasis on choice and freedom.
I see counselling as a space to explore intersectional issues or identities in a safe, confidential, supportive and non-judgmental environment. I believe we should all live in a world free to be who we truly are and to be accepted as such. I prefer to meet you ‘where you are at’ in whatever struggles you might be facing in your life.
There can be multiple reasons why you might feel this is the right time to come for counselling. Often the first step is the hardest. Please feel free to email with any questions, or to book an initial session.
