About me and my therapy practice

Hello and thank you for visiting my page.

Taking those first steps isn't always easy but I offer a warm empathetic style, a non-judgemental safe contained space, and the experience of truly being listened to.

Not only can we think about what current issues you may be facing we also look at difficulties rooted in the past that may be affecting how you cope today. By exploring what is troubling you and making sense of your experiences, together we can bring about a deeper level of awareness and self-acceptance, bringing more meaning back into your life.

Practice description

I have valuable experience working with adults in private practice and volunteering within the charitable sector. I currently run my clinical practice incorporating a racial and cultural dialogue while continuing to develop my own awareness and having had a background working in the education sector for the last 15 years, I also mentor young people in a secondary school setting.

I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework in order to ensure good practice and hold a full professional indemnity and public liability insurance and have an up-to-date DBS certificate.

My first session

I offer a free half-hour telephone conversation to discuss your needs and along with the first 50-minute session, this will allow you the opportunity to know if you feel comfortable enough to continue with weekly sessions.

Once agreed we will meet on the same day, at the same time, and go at a pace that's right for you.

I am happy to answer any questions via phone or email and if you leave a message, I will respond within working hours and once I become available.
