About me and my therapy practice
I have a warm and inquisitive nature and understand the importance of building a good therapeutic relationship. I provide a safe and respectful space taking a collaborative approach with clients and encouraging people to build on their own resilience and resources.
I offer generic counselling and specialist counselling, working from welcoming, comfortable and private rooms in central Exeter.
I currently divide my time between private practice and working in the public sector at an NHS gender identity clinic where I support individuals & families through the process of transitioning
As a fully qualified professional counsellor I am both registered and accredited with The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) which means I adhere to their Ethical framework.
In addition to general counselling I am able to offer specialist support to individuals experiencing gender dsyphoria, gender incongruence, who are transgender and those partners and family members who are directly impacted by any challenges this may bring.
I am also able to offer supportive counselling to those who have Aspergers or people who experience autistic traits.
